Almost all multinational corporations have established R&D centers in China with different purposes and goals. With the changing China’s strategy to increase innovation and the recognition of China’s innovation potential, companies want to tap into the innovation pool and change from localization of products and services to new products and services developed for the Chinese market and beyond. As the Chinese market is changing rapidly, new models and frameworks need to be created to reflect the process how multinational corporations can achieve higher innovation output by putting emphasis on action research and social network analysis.
